I opened a support ticket on this, but seeing as I'm sure I won't get an answer until monday, I thought it would be worth posting here as well.
After the up2date to 8.003, the system rebooted and no traffic flowed to the internet; A tcpdump showed traffic hitting the astaro from the outside, but no route to host on the return path. There was no default route listed in the routing tables. Disabling the external interface and re-enabling it removes and re-creates the route to it's own network, but not the default route. In Webadmin, that interface is set to have the default gateway on it's network.
Adding the default route manually ("route add default gw ") works, but as soon as the box is rebooted or the interface is bounced, the default route is removed and never re-added.
Any idea why the interface with a default gateway assigned in webadmin wouldn't create the default route in the routing table?
Thx,
Adam
