Throughput problems

I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on a problem I have.
I am running ASG V7.507 on a Dell GX-260, and reports show 5% CPU ( 20% peak) and 40% memory usage. External interface eth1 1.5Mb/s ethernet to Netgear router.
I recently installed a second ADSL line eth2 which gives 35Mb/s down and 10Mb/s up when a PC is directly connected, however when running through the Astaro the maximum I can get is 7Mb/s down and 7.2Mb/s up ( even with eth1 disconnected )
I have not got QoS set ( it makes no difference anyway ) and am running multipath.
Eth2 is running at 100Mb/s and eth0 at 1Gb.

Is this "straigth through" ?, or do you have IPS and/or Proxy running...?

I have the default settings for IPS set on the internal interface to drop silently and transparent proxy set.

Most bizzarely I have all but one PC in a group X, and a multipath rule
X - Any - External (Fast) (Network)
trying to persuade most of my traffic down the fast route,
and they are also capped at 7Mb/s, but the one remaining PC is suddenly downloading at 34Mb/s ??????
