DHCP Proxy Auto Configuration and Vista/7 issues

Hello, 
I'm partially OT: does anyone ever experienced issues with DHCP option 252 (Proxy Auto Configuration) and Vista/7 clients? I have no problems with xp, but with mentioned OS I am not able to auto discover pac file settings...

Perhaps is not an Astaro issue, with my Win 2k3 dhcp I have the same behaviour [:(]


Added info's since thread creation: with Astaro DHCP only windows 7 are affected by the issue, with Win2003 DHCP server both!

    Got the solution!

    In all the clients, clicking on "Auto discovery" didn't take any effect (nor closing the Internet Explorer and restart it). I had to go in:

    Internet Options
    Advanced
    Click on reset default internet explorer settings
    restart the browser

    and... voilà, the auto-discovery works perfectly! As always: damn WinWaste! [H]
