Time Events occurring in GMT TZ

Hello all,

I've been trying to setup timed events to bring down our dorm networks at 11:45pm.  They come back up at 5am.

I've setup a time event from 5:00 to 23:45.  It applied to the packet filter that allows packets from the our residential network.  It appears that at 6:45pm EST the network goes down.  That would make sense if the timed events are happening in either GMT or UTC.

The gateways time zone is set to "US / Eastern".  The time displayed on the Time and Date tab is correct.  Logging into the shell also shows the correct time when `date` is executed.

What am I doing wrong?  What time zone are timed events triggered in?

    Hi,
    welcome aboard.

    First thing, for tricky questions like this one you should refer to your reseller so that bug/support case is created and logged.
    Secondly, most of the time the BB members can help.

    I understand your issue and uptil now was reasonably confident that bug had been fixed. I had been down a similar path.


    From memory you need to check a setting that says what time the bios clock runs at compared to the ASG clock eg local time or UTC.
