Having Huge Issues with my DHCP Server [8.001]

DHCP all of a sudden stopped handing out IP's and every computer on the network can no longer get an address. Internal network interface is showing a constant 15 mbs+ of data and 50%+ CPU (usually at 2%)

The Live Log of the DHCP server shows that the server is receiving the DHCP request but the server responds "No buffer space available"

What does this mean and how do I fix it? I have plenty of hard drive space available and RAM as well. I've tried deleting the DHCP server and creating a new one but that doesn't help.

    Hi, AC, and welcome to the User BB!

    packets being blocked from 0.0.0.0 with a destination of 255.255.255.255

    I think those are coming from a client.  The full log (not the live log) should tell you what interface those are coming over.  Either the full or live log will show you the source and destination MAC addresses.  Is there a hint in the logs?

    Hi bob....

    Logs indicate every machine on the network was hitting it. I unplugged everything and I am still having issues.

    So far...I have reformatted, restored backup and also reformatted and used a vanilla install. Nothing has worked. As soon as the initial setup is over, the machine blows up and I can't get back in via web admin.

    I've figured out the problem - it appears that my switch burned out and was sending a steady flow of 80 mbits of data to all network devices and drowned the astaro server out.

    I swapped for a spare switch I had and everything is working normally again.

    Now to find a new 24 port switch....
