Finding Device downtime - historical data

I'm trying to find out how many times and for how long my Astaro 7.507 device has been down for the past year.

In other words, which log files and which search strings can I use to find downtime over the past year?

    You could use something external like Nagios or Groundworks Open Source (runs on top of Nagios for better management). From there you could just ping (you'll have to set up a PF rule) or I would think you could SNMP if you have the appropriate MIBs.
