[8.001] ipv6 DHCP

Hi All

The "IPv6 Lease Table" still shows an IPV6 even though it has expired

    Hi wingman,
    I asked a similar question during the v8 beta, also the IPv4 does the same thing. The answer was until the address is re-assigned it will stay there which is actually a bit of a pain when trying to debug address issues.

    I use the initial DHCP assignment to pick up the mac address for the static assignment.

    I am doing the same think Ian but I have couple of ipv6 (since version 8 when trying ipv6 functionality). Does that mean it will remain there for ..god knows when? Do you know if this issue will be resolved?

    Hi wingman,

    scratching brain. From memory I think there is an automatic purging process I think every 14 days. The actual period escapes me for the moment.
