System was restarted Reason: (unknown)

Hey guys,

i don´t know why but one of our Astaro is restarting on several days at night.
(Astaro Security Gateway Appliance 7.506)
I don´t find anything in the logfiles...maybe someone here can help me..

    Sounds like a hardware or power issue to me.  You may want to install a APC UPS and connect it to the Astaro via the USB connection for power monitoring to make sure the power is staying up; I've seen wierd things happen when the maintenance guys in a building put a circuit (accidentally) on a timer during change work.

    If the power checks out, it's time to look at the hardware.  If this is an Official Astaro Appliance (ASG 120, 220, 320, etc.) and you have paid support (standard or premium) start a support case with Astaro; if they suspect the hardware, they'll ship you another unit.

    If this is on your own hardware, troubleshooting can be difficult.  If you have spare hardware, or can order another box to run it on, I'd try that.
