Native IPv6 and IPv4 over PPPoE

My ISP (Andrews and Arnold AAISP - Home) provide me with native IPv6 and IPv4 over PPPoE

I've been using a manual install of Fedora 13 as a firewall / gateway but wanted to move to something a little simpler to administer and so I've installed ASG 8

Under Fedora I could have PPPoE with IPv4 and IPv6, but with Astaro I seem to only be able to get one or the other to work.  

If I leave Static PPPOE IP unchecked I get an IPv4 address assigned, but no IPv6 address.

If I enable Static PPPOE IP and supply both my static IPv4 and IPv6 addresses I end up with an IPv6 address, but no IPv4 address.

Under Fedora I was able to have IPv4 be assigned by PPPoE and only assign a static IPv6 address, which seemed to work just fine.  Is there a way to achive this via Astaro?

    Hi,
    the current v8.00x doesn't support DHCP client on the PPPoE interface.

    I can't test any further because I have a sixxs tunnel as my IPv6 gateway.

    Hopefully v8.1xx will support v4 and v6 on PPPoE.

    Hi Ian,

    It's not so much the lack of DHCP, it's the fact that supplying a static IPv4 address doesn't work with PPPoE, and the inability to specifiy a staitc IPv6 without also having to specify a static IPv4 (which doesn't work)

    I guess I'll just have to wait and see what 8.1 brings, unless there's a way I can help the astaro guys to support this type of connection :-)
