logfile application partition is filling up

We have ASG 220 version 5.2, keep sending me email notification says:
logfile application  partition mounted at /var/log is filling up - please check.

I log in, check the partition, erase the old file, now the partition usage is 78%. In the webadmin, I set up the threshold to be 85%, once get to 85% partition usage, then the system should send email notification. 

But now the log partition usage is only 78%, why it's still sending me the email notification?
