Hi Everyone
IBM e326M
3 Network Cards
1 Configured Interal
1 Configured for PPPOE
1 Spare
Just upgraded our firewall from v7 to v8. I have a beklin router (ISP is iiNET Australia) setup with default settings and upgraded to latest firmware patch. I have not configured the modem to connect to the internet (PPPOE). It is set to default settings.
I've setup a PPPOE connection as follows :
Name: External Wan
Type: DSL (PPPOA / PPTP) Ethernet StandardCable Modem (DHCP)DSL (PPPOE)Modem (PPP)Ethernet VLAN
Hardware: eth2 (Intel Corporation 82544EI Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Copper))

Password: ************

The problem is that it seems to work but disconnects. Here is the PPPOE Log :

I've contact my ISP and asked them to do line test and port reset at the exchange. Was working fine in v7... seems to be the upgrade?
Any ideas? Currently my work around is to configure the Beklin Modem to PPPOE out. Than i've setup a DMZ to map the external address given by my ISP to the internal address of the 1 spare network card (Beklin is 10.1.1.1 and the spare is 10.1.1.5). Than create another interface in Astaro using Ethernet Standard as the type. Gives me access....
However, I have 3 internal web servers all on seperate servers (was quite excited to see WAS in v8). External access in isn't working like it should and i fear its because my external address is seen as 10.1.1.5 as apposed to a PPPOE address.....
Your genius help is much anticipated [:)]
