Hi,
one of our ASG120 suddenly sends these messages.
Root partition is short of inodes - please check. Current usage: 75%
When I log on via sh df says only 35% used disk space and df -i 75% used inodes.
So the message is right.
In the selfmonitoring logs I see theses messages.
2010:07:30-10:50:13 ASG selfmonng[3214]: I check Failed increment root_freeInodes counter 1 - 3
2010:07:30-10:50:43 ASG selfmonng[3214]: I check Failed increment root_freeInodes counter 2 - 3
2010:07:30-10:51:13 ASG selfmonng[3214]: W check Failed increment root_freeInodes counter 3 - 3
2010:07:30-10:51:13 ASG selfmonng[3214]: W NOTIFYEVENT Name=root_freeInodes Level=WARN Id=160 suppressed
What does this error message mean?
How can I free up some Inodes?
How is it possible that so many inodes are used even so the disk is only 31% full?
Thanks
Tobias
