Hello,
I set up a VLAN (1,2,3,4) on one NIC (Realtek RTL-8169 GiBit) of a ASG 7.505 with AV,FTP,HTTP proxy running.
If I copy a file from one VLAN to another VLAN I can only get ~4 MB/s. That's very slow.
I tested the transfer with a 1GB file and FTP, it took ~4 minutes to completly transfer stopped with a watch, even if I disable AV.
Both computers are attached to a HP ProCurve 1810G-8 Switch connected to the ASG:
1. Computer attached to VLAN 1:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13GHz, 2 cores
OS: Debian Linux 5.0 Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64 on x86_64,
NIC: Intel Corporation 82574L Gigabit
2. Computer attached to VLAN 2:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz running
OS: MS Vista 64 Bit Ultimate,
NIC: Intel(R) PRO/1000 PL
ASG Resource usage:
CPU: 52%
RAM: 85%
SWAP: 46%
Can anyone help me,
Thanks
Andreas.
