PPPoE dialup doesn't work after power failure

WHY? Why does this happens only on weekends? :-(

After a power failure my Astaro ASG220 won't connect to the internet.
The PPPoE Log says it's online, but I even can't ping any host.

I've noticed the error "tdb_store failed: Corrupt database". What does this mean and how can I get rid of it?

    Have you tried a disable/enable of the interface?

    I know very little about linux, but that looks to me like the astaro got a response, but couldn't stick it in a database used to store the information because the database got corrupted.

    Yes, enabled/disabled, reconfigured, rebooted... everything!

    Through google I found some advices to delete the tdb-database file. It will be rebuilt automatically. But where is it on the Astaro?
    And I think there must be another way except of logging in as root and voiding support.

    Just for your info: I made it. After deleting the tdb-database file everythings back to normal.

    But... this is an ASG220... normally used in companies. I can't believe that such an error could paralyze a whole company and that you have to reinstall your appliance (if you just delete the file as I did, you will probably void your support, so reinstall will be the only option).

    I think there should be a constistency check at boot or something to make sure this error can't happen.

    was the 220 not on a ups?  if not then that's your issue..something network critical should always be on a ups.

    Of course it was on a UPS, but when the UPS ran empty, it switched off.
    The connected servers were shut down properly.

    Can I shut down the Astaro remotely from the UPS-Management server? I won't buy a second UPS only for the Astaro.

    You can connect several different UPS systems to the ASG to avoid unclear system shutdown. I think there is a list of supported UPS devices in the HCL.

    There would have been a third option for you to solve your issue AND to avoid loss of support/guarantee:
    just open a support ticket and probably they would have told you what to do.
