Hi;
I've been using the Astaro here at home (Victoria, Australia) for 2 years now. I currently have a static IP address, (costs a fortune) and I'm looking to changing to a normal home use plan. I also want to get faster speeds, but the local exchange only supports Telstra ADSL2+ (which is also outrageously priced). I've been looking at getting Optus Cable which provides the speed I want at a really good price.
Because I also have a registered domain, (hence the static ip) I've been looking at moving to dyndns for dynamic dns services. (I saw the Astaro has the ability to work with dyndns) I've setup the dyndns system and it is working.
My question.
Has any-one else setup an Astaro behind an Optus cable modem, and is using dyndns for their registered domain. And if so, who well is it working.
Thanks Heaps.
Trevor..
