Mutipath Failover Logging

This weekend one of our sites had their primary internet connection fail for three hours. I am looking for where this event along with the packet routing going out through our backup internet connection can be found. I have searched high and low for the event and the subsequent change in connections from the failed primary internet connection.

Do you have 'Notifications' enabled for this? Have you looked in the 'System messages' log?

notifications are in place. I am looking for more granular details of exactly what is happening, how many icmp packets are failing, what servers are being pinged when the failover occurs and when the failover reverts.

I have had no less than 19 failover events lasting on average 10-30 seconds each today and i need as much data as i can garner to pass on to my ISP to resolve this issue.
