DHCP Forwarder

I currently have ASG with a LAN, WAN, and WLAN connections setup. The all works fine except for the WLAN connection. I have the WLAN connected to a Linksys WRT54g router, that I am basically wanting to use as a access point. I have flashed the router with DDWRT on it now and runs stable. I want all DHCP functions to be handled by the ASG, and have the linksys forward DHCP requests. I have DHCP setup on the ASG, I can give the router a static IP, but when I try and put the router on the same subnet and it wont get a internet connection. I want to know what I am missing. WLAN DHCP is set to 10.10.1.1 and Linksys WAN address to 10.10.1.2, Linksys Address is 10.10.1.5. and have it pointed to 10.10.1.1 for DHCP Server. I dont receive any IP address once connected wireless and if i assign a IP address statically to my laptop it still will not access the internet.  If I put the DHCP to be controlled by the linksys and set it to a different sub net. It wont work, what am i missing?

FYI, LAN ip is 10.10.2.1. This is my home network, I am a intermediate with network so please be patient with me....
