Astaro as AP

Hey all,

I work professionally also as a security engineer, and am interested in testing astaro ... finally ... 
Is an astaro setup also able to function as an AP ? And what is a preferred nic for that ? 

I read here that an atm board with intel nics seems an preferred setup ?

I am sorry for the possible redundant question !

    with that being said, you can still use any 802.3 switch, plug it into an Astaro interface with one cable and any 802.11 WAP of your chosing on the other. The Astaro won't care about 802.11 protocol as its talking to the next device which is a 802.3 switch. 

    We use this solution to provide a DMZ for guest wireless that is sharing corporate Internet but segrated by Astaro.
