Can not connect DSL AC - retry in 5 seconds

Hi Everyone,
astaro120 appliance(7.502) connects with pppoe modem. modem powered off and powered on. later astaro apliance didn t connect to adsl.I was getting following this messages;

is there any ideas?

looks anything's unconnected btw. astaro wan port and DSLAM - try to do pppoe via laptop with the modem to be sure that the cabling etc is fine; then try another eth on astaro; be sure not to need a x-link cable...

If you say the PPoE connection was working and now is not, are you sure that the ISP isn't having a problem?

I encounter the same problem but I am using a router that can be set to work as modem only (bridged mode). If I switch to the normal router mode with the same settings the router connects to the ISP instantly - but if I switch to bridged mode and let the ASG 120 try to do the connect it fails and the log shows the messages provided by samettopac [:(]

Are you sure that you're connecting the correct interface to the modem, that the cable is good, etc.?

If i remember right it was a wrong PPPoE login in our case. Have you tried to enter it again?

Has everybody found a solution for this issue? We have a similar problem with a swisscom VDSL connection.

Mine was a Swisscom VDSL! Make sure you have the most current document and verify your login with the Swisscom support. The username may changes when they make a change.

it is a modem problem or crush. In 90% is Zyxel Modem
and may have the MTU not supported by interfaces -> ppoe
REPLACE that modem

Set the reconnect delay from 5s to 1min. should do the trick...common issue with VDSL...
