VLAN - Connection problem

Hi to all of you

I need some help. I have the following setup:

ASG320
eth0 > Internal network (172.16.100.2/22)
eth1 > WAN
eth7 > Ethernet (vlan 7) (192.168.36.2/24)

eth7 is connected to a trunk port on a Linksys SWR2024. I have a test PC (192.168.36.10/24) on another Linksys port in Access mode (vlan 7).

Problem: I can’t ping the test PC from the ASG320. I can’t ping the ASG320 from the test PC (pinging is allowed by rule).

Where is my mistake? I can’t find the reason of the connection error.

    Tom, I still would guess that you don't have 'Allow ICMP through firewall' and 'Firewall forwards Pings' selected on the Astaro with the test PC you're trying to ping.

    Argh! It was my intellectual failure. Every switch in our LAN must know the new VLAN (not just the test switch). I published the VLAN ID and name to very switch and everything works fine.
