how to configure dhcp and dns server

Hello Friends !

i have setup a dhcp server(suse linux sles 10 ) and its working (i tested with other machine )now how do i use my internal dhcp server with astaro (i am testing this at home )

which two interface i have to use in relay 

this is 1 of the  question while doing a poc of astaro 
and same with dns server

    I have used a seperate dhcp server for finer control previously with astaro. I was basically using it for LAN since my dmz only has servers with static IPs. Also more than likely, you won't be providing any dhcp functionality to the wan interface.
    I didn't use the relay functionality of astaro since the dhcp server was on LAN providing IPs on the LAN. However, I did use my dhcp server to provide IPs for my vpn clients. There is a tab for that under remote access-->type of vpn you are using-->assign IP address by DHCP server. Pretty self explanatory once you define your dhcp server in the astaro hosts list.

    Edit: Sorry, didn't see your dns question. I used to have my astaro forward all the requests to one of my internal active directory servers for cleaner reporting of internal IP addresses. But I got worried about the situation after a few exploits came out for the dns caching vulnerability. Now I let astaro dns take care of all my queries and use the request routing tab on astaro (under dns). If you have an internal dns, you can tell astaro to query it for LAN addresses and local domains/reverse dns etc using that tab.
