Bridging two network together

Hi,

I have joined networks together in the past but I am not sure how the Astaro does it. I have two separate interfaces with two separate subnets that have different rules applied to each but both networks are using the same DC and all network resources.

I read the help available for the Astaro regarding 'Bridging' but I could not figure out from the explanation if this is what you use to allow two separate networks to communicate as a single network.

How do I get two separate interfaces with different subnets to participate as a single network?

I am use to using Sonicwall devices and Windows to configure what I am trying to do, without a problem, but the Astaro is just different enough I cannot figure this out.

    Hi, if you want to maintain 2 separate subnets, you shouldn't bridge.

    If you want one big subnet on 2 interfaces, you can bridge them, but keep in mind that you can't put packetfilters between the bridged networks.
