Logs are being bounced

Hi,

I can't seem to figure out why only the Astaro Executive reports are being bounced. Everything else seems to be working perfectly.

How do I fix this?

Ps. the log for the bounce is below...

    Shouldn't the FQDN of the Astaro be "host.domain.com" instead of only "domain.com" ???

    Do you have entered the hostname correctly? (Management => System Settings ==> Hostname)

    No...I am sorry that wasn't it. I still cannot receive my Astaro executive reports because the Astaro is bouncing them. It has nothing to do with any outside source or configuration, it is only the Astaro that is filtering out it's own logs.

    From the Error message (Access denied - Invalid HELO name) this has something to do with the remote SMTP server and the hostname of the Astaro. Do you use an external SMTP server to send notifications?

    You may can try to disable it for testing, or enabling it if disabled.

    I do use an external smtp server, I have setup an account on the server for the router and everything works fine on that account.

    I had originally left the Astaro in it's default setup for sending these logs but I was getting these same errors. I setup an account to try to resolve the issue but it did not seem to work.

    Is there a way to setup a path to my external smtp server? If it just uses the default port 25 this could be the issue as my external smtp server is different than my ISP and they use a different port as my ISP would filter port 25.
