PPTP sessions counting

Hi all,

i have in my company an ASG220 , and the version is V7.501.
We use pptp to give users a remote access to the LAN.

my question can be quiet simple but i cannot get thru : 

As the number of my remote workers is growing i d like to have a view of the number of sessions currently on line, and above all i'd love to have an historical view of these sessions. To say something like : "well 3 days ago at 3PM they were 4 on the pptp..." and so on...

This helps me to make capacity planning, i don t want to realise that one day that my WAN line, or device is too small to host a huge numer of pptp connections.

in the 7.500 it looks like remote sessions can be displayed on the interface but i does not seem to work.

note : i use pptp based on a radius windows.

any help will be greatly appreciated !!

    In V6 and before, there was a section of the Executive Report that had info about VPN traffic, but that's not in the current version.  I think there is a request for its return in Astaro Gateway Feature Requests.

    Can you get some of the information you need from 'Reporting >> Network Usage' 'Accounting'?

    Nope nothing so far.

    accounting gives me which IPs and the amount of data used by the IPs.

    but not , how many are connected currently or used to be connected in a given time

    [:(]


    i think i'll deal with the radius service on my server, and possibly with a cacti server i'll have my infos here...
