[7.501][BUG] Interface IP address

Last week i installed a pre-configured ASG120 in the office of a customer. After everything went fine i tied to establish a VPN to our main office (ASG425 Cluster) over ACC (2.070).

After clicking on "Finish" it returned an "Invalid Network Address" on the clients ASG120 (Can not remember the exact message, but not so important). First thought it may is the ACC, and updated it to 2.100. Still same error.

Then i found out that on the ASG120 the IP address of the internal interface was entered as "172.30.003.129" instead of "172.30.3.129". After cutting of the zeros i could finish the VPN creating without problems.

So, i think the ASG should cut leading zeros on IP addresses to prevent such errors.

    Interesting.  I never tried to enter leading 0s, but the Astaro does indeed let you do it.

    Then I edited the interface again, removed the 0s and saved.  The display showed no leading zeros.  I edited again, and inspite of the fact the display showed no 0s, the edit did!  I removed the 0s again, saved, opened the edit again, and the 0s finally had stopped appearing.

    Hmmm... I Have a customer that is obessed with putting leading zeros on IP addresses... good to know.

    Right, the IP address with the zeros is only visible when editing the interface itself. Everywhere else i only saw it without zeros. But seems that the ASG stores it how it is entered in the text field, which normally is not a problem.

    Can be fixed on the ASG (cutting of the leading zeros) or on the ACC (to handle these IP addresses correct)
