Backup/Restore question

Hey all, quick question. If I move Astaro to a machine with different hardware and restore the backup from the original machine, will that try and restore the NIC hardware config as well? I'm moving to new hardware and it has different NIC's and I don't want to have to rebuild all my filter/nat lists by hand if I don't have to. But I'm afraid if it restores the NIC info as well I wont be able to gain access to the box again and will have to reinstall everything. Anyone know exactly what the backup contains? TIA to all.

    The NICs won't necessarily be in the same order as before, so you should look at the MAC addresses on the NICs, and compare them with what WebAdmin shows the MACs as.

    Or, you can use ping -f to each LAN from the console to try to identify NICs, the one that's blinking is probably the one you're running the ping on.
