UPS Support for ASG

Hello,
I have seen that in Notifications  settings there are some options about UPS Support, but I don't see any page in wich is possible to configure the UPS parameters. I have an APC UPS with a network card, it would be nice to softly turn off the firewall when power fails. How can I configure the UPS?

    If you connect the APC to a USB port on the ASG, the ASG will power down when the UPS tells it that there's not much electricity left.  If you don't, it will just stop when the UPS stops giving it enough juice.  I don't know that a soft shutdown has any real value for an ASG.

    Thak you for your reply. My problem is that the APC has no USB interface. It has RS232 cable, but it is connected to a Windows Server. In order to power off other servers or network devices (su as QNAP NAS) in the APC I have installed a network interface. In this way, if the remote server supports SNMP, it can be turned off (see example.jpg in order to see what I mean, this is qnap nas configuration page).

    So, ASG does not support UPS through SNMP, is it right?

    No SNMP or Native Powechute support yet... it would be great to have, for sure.  You could implement powerchute on a network server, and write a script that would issue a shutdown command via SSH to the Astaro upon the network server being sent a Shutdown command.  Right now the only direct option is USB connectivity.

    Well, I have read something about this, but I don't know if asg 220 can turn on when power returns on. What do you think about? It is usually a bios setting...

    Yes, that'd be a BIOS setting... almost every computer has such a setting.
