A bit of history.....
In the last couple of months I have inherited supporting an Astaro firewall, ASG to be exact. I have had some experience with it in the past but I was never the full admin. Anyways two weeks ago the live ASG failed, it was running version 7.4***. I had a backup server ready and running the new ASG 7.5 so I used the backup/restore and pretty much everything was working fine though I did have to tweak a few things.
So the live ASG is running 7.5 now. The day after I replaced the firewall I had to create a new A record for one of the domains for my company. This A record actually points to a web server that belongs to a web design company so it is definitely outside my network. When I attempt to go to this site when I am on my work network if receive an Astaro message " Host not found". If I try from my iPhone or home internet I am able to get to this web site. With ASG 7.5, does it handle DNS records differently? I am from Canada and our internet is through Rogers and as far as I can tell the DNS servers that we have are correct.
Any help on where and what I can check would be appreciated. I am slowly reading through the documentation I have not come across anything as of yet.
EDIT
If I add the domain name as a Static Entry under DNS I am able to reach the site. Obviously I don't what to do this for the entire web if I am not getting updated properly... [:D]
