[7.500] Ident reverse proxy broken?

Decided to try out Astaro again for home use after receiving the email about number of IPs being raised to 50. However I'm running into some problems when trying to activate ident reverse proxy with forwarding.

It seem to reply the default ident no matter what, tcpdump shows it doesnt even try to forward the ident request. If I try to start it manually without the "force reply" it gives replies like this:

Default response: 36758 , 6667 : (returned ºwÏ@*)

Can anyone confirm that this is either working or broken for them?

    Am i the only one using this feature?

    This is rather annoying since it means I have to put some of my servers outside the firewall if I cannot get this to work, which kinda defeats any reason for going back to Astaro [:(]

    Hi, I've found that creating a firewall rule to REJECT incoming Ident works ok for most applications (including smtp).

    What apps are you having trouble with? IRC?

    yes, IRC. For others it would be fine to just reply a default value or reject the request, but one of the servers are used for IRC by me and a few friends and not having a unique ident reply for each users causes some problems related to this.

    Not really a huge deal to put it outside the firewall as it still has its local firewall, but when there already is a reverse ident proxy in Astaro I'd like to have it working.
