[7.500] Positioning of Packet Filter rules

If I try to change the position of a (new or existing) rule in the packet filter to the Group Bottom, the rule does not move to the group, but stays in the same place it was.

But if I try to change it to the Group Top, it works and I can even move it to the Group Bottom.

So...It's a bit annoying, but I got the workaround. Would be nice if that could be fixed in a future release.

Please let us know if the problem still exists in 7.501.

As soon as 7.501 is in the up2date repository will install, test and post a response.

Marc, I finally got around to testing this on 7.501, and I didn't see the problem you described. I first tried moving a rule to the bottom - no problem. Then, I saw that you said "group bottom" instead, so I tried that - noproblem.

Could be a Browser issue - I need to use IE to change settings - Firefox doesn't let me- just a thought.

Hi, what version of FireFox, and have you added any script blockers that might be interfering?

Tried it in the following browsers and still didn't work
* Firefox 3.0.14 without Add-ons
* Firefox 3.5.3 with Add-ons (adblock, Flashblock and Imagezoom)
* Firefox 3.5.3 without Add-ons
* Internet Explorer 6

At this moment i am still waiting for the 7.501 to appear in the up2date repository (according to Astaro it should be today or tomorrow) so I can test my issue and post the result back here.

how many groups do you have and how many filters in each group?

Tried it in the 7.501 release and still have the same problem.

Here a list of specs of my packet filters
* Total of 41 rules
* 7 of them are disabled
* Total of 13 groups (consisting of 3,3,2,8,3,3,3,3,1,8,1,1,1,1 rules)
* The group I want to move my rule to has a total of 3 items, but it doesn't move to smaller or bigger groups either
* It doesn't matter if the rule I want to move is active or disabled
* If I push the info sign of the rule it tells me : This object is not used by any other objects

What more can I tell about my config...[:S]
