Network Usage Reporting

What does a person have to do to monitor/report on usage In/Out of a particular interface?  You know, track traffic In/Out of eth1, by server or by port?

Network traffic reporting has its uses, I'm sure, but wouldn't you think there'd be a demand for the ability to track usage by interface (in our case, to find out which of our systems is generating all of this internet traffic).

    I have been floundering around in the Reporting / Accounting area for two days.  

    I just posted a new post in this forum (forgot about this one, and never got your replies until I stumbled across this thread) with more specific information.  I have never logged into the shell, and am not sure I'd know how to use the *nix commands or even understand the output.

    This device is kind of amazing in what it can do, but I am also surprised at how lacking in detail the documentation is.  I realize Astaro needs to make a profit, but not eveybody has the resources to spend $2700 on ACA and ACE courses.

    I can't figure out how to determine what the outputs actually mean - what the heck are TCP ports 1137, 1142, 1140, 4514?  Where is the traffic on these ports even going?  This is a web server - shouldn't the bulk of the traffic be on ports 80 and 443?
