ASG Cluster and link aggregation

Hi,

I have one more question about clustering. There is one thing i'm not sure if i'm right or wrong.

When i have an ASG cluster with two nodes, i connect the LAN interface of node1, and the LAN interface of node2 to the same switch. Do i have to setup a link aggregation on the switch for these ports or not??

I'm a bit confused about that.

    Definitely not.  In fact, where possible, I prefer to have each ASG go into a different switch.

    So i can say that i was right. (Its because of the shared MAC address, right??) Just asked because im testing the cluster setup at the moment and it had some problems from time to time to cleanly fail over.

    But whyever, it seems to work like a charm since ten minutes. Whatever i plug in or out. No idea why it didn't worked fine before.

    It takes awhile for it to be ready after you complete the configuration.  You can look in the HA log to see if your success coincided with something there.
