QOS and Bandwidth allocation

hi,

it is possible to assign bandwidth on external interface ?
if i have a 2 mb link ,  1mb for web surfing and the other 1 mb dedicated to vpn  connection ( ipsec, remote ), can i accomplish this in asg? how?
do you have any idea what is the average bandwidth (kbs)of vpn per connection.if i have 1 mb link for vpn and there is over hundreds remote access users how do i compute this, i want to make sure that the allocated bandwidth is sufficient enough to support the vpn connection.

    Any one VPN user could completely fill the bandwidth simply by downloading a file.  The larger issue is that you once said that you have an ASG220, and I don't think it will handle hundreds of users, let alone hundreds of VPNs.  It sounds like you need, at least, an ASG425 with a 100MB internet link.

    But, as to your question, there is no practical way in the Astaro QoS implementation to limit the bandwidth allocated to each of the users.  Astaro QoS is very powerful, but configuring it can be counter-intuitive.  For example, if you notice that web surfing is slow, then you will want to create a bandwidth pool on the External interface that guarantees minimum uplink bandwidth for outbound surf requests.
