My company has scaled back and I have back-filled the IT function, which includes monitoring our firewall (version 6.315, I believe a 120 box). I am a novice at best with this, so keep that in mind.
Our firewall has been crashing (network access stops, can't ping FW, etc) the last few days, and it seems like it may be triggered when large ftp files are sent across the network. This doesn't make sense to me, and it may be just coincidence, but it's happened three times today (each time we try to push the ftp file across).
I've been looking though the logs and reports with out gaining much insight.
I just wanted to ask if anyone had a similar experience, or if there is a known issue I'm up against here?
Thanks,
JL
