ASG Home with external DSL Modem

Hi all

my external dsl modem is set to bridge mode instead of PPPoE. i want ASG to do the login to my ISP while using build-in PPPoE functionality.

how do i need to configure the two NICs from ASG?
do they need to be in the same subnet?

    Hi,

    Connect one NIC to your modem, the other to your local net.
    Then just use the "first installation wizard", which welcomes you after the installation. When configuring the "external interface" you have the option to use pppoe.

    Hint:
    The most questions regarding the first configuration are answered in the quick start guide or in the documentation (found in the knowledge base)!
