here we're fighting against wind mills *g*
In our network clients're sending DNS requests to our internal DNS and the servers forwarding these requests to our ASG. But in DNS Proxy log entries like this
2009:07:14-16:18:55 (none) named[3479]: unexpected RCODE (SERVFAIL) resolving 'google.de.gso.de/A/IN': 194.25.0.52#53can be read.
I tried to get results for a DNS request sending from the WebAdmin but the ASG couldn't get a result too.
We tried several DNS: 194.25.2.129, 194.25.0.52, 194.25.0.60, 194.25.0.68.
Resolving domain names failed from time to time.
About the DNS settings:
Internal DNS are allowed to request, above type IPs are set as Forwarders, 2 request routes are set for resolving internal names from the ASG...
In the DNS all pointers pointing to the ASG...
...but this setup didn't work anymore...
At the moment I set all back to a working one: DNS using a PFR to resolving names and the request routes are disabled.
Has anyone an idea how to get back to the former setup - ASG as DNS Proxy?
