Astaro User Portal/SSL Client and IPSec connection.

Hi guys,

I have been using Astaro since 3 days and I really like it. So bear with me, I'm new to this product and I'm trying to read everything as I can before asking a question.

Sadly, I'm still searching for answers to these question. I hope you guys can help me.

1. Astaro User Portal and the documentation.
I would like to setup IPSec access to my Astaro Security Gateway. I'm following the PDF guide at this URL http://www.astaro.com/lists/ASGV7-IPSec-VPN-en.pdf. First, they are talking about the Astaro User Portal. Is the Astaro User Portal the same as the Astaro User End Portal? If yes, the screenshot in the documentation shows 4 steps to download the IPSec profile, certification, application, etc. I can't see any links of these links in the Astaro User End Portal. I also tried the IP address of my ASG (without the 4444 port) and nothing happens. At this point, I'm stuck and I can't use the IPSec VPN access. Is there a problem if I'm using the free (home licence) ASG v7 and not the commercial one? Are these remote access options available in this version?

2. SSL VPN Client.
If I can't use the IPSec with the previous problems, where can I download the SSL VPN Client for ASG v7? I searched everywhere and I found nothing.

I hope you guys can help me sort these little problems.

    The options for remote access will not appear in the End User Portal for a Username "John" unless "John" is listed as one of the 'Allowed users' in the configuration for IPsec in the Astaro.  In SSL, "John" must be listed in 'Users and Groups'.

    I ran into this it turns out the user end portal isn't enabled by default. Connect to your astaroip:4444, on the left click management, user portal, click enable, add any to access the user end portal remotely or internal network if you want to download the client, certificates, and profile import settings and transfer through email, etc. Also, when you import the profile it'll show the public side ip address so if that's dynamic you'll want to change it to the dynamic dns after you import on the client side.
