ISP disconnects

what log file would I look at to help troubleshoot internet drops? 

I am pretty sure that the issue is on the ISP's end, but I want to make sure.

  • I don't know, unless you use PPPoA or PPPoE and can see activity in one of those logs.

    Please let us know if you find something.

  • Here is the answer i got back from Astaro support...

    Check the kernel log, self-monitoring log, and system messages to see if it is a interface or connection issue. If that doesn't produce anything check the content filtering log (if you're using it) and the DNS proxy as well.
