Users from Active Directory

I'm wanting to start using the User Portals and therefore started up the Active Directory (SBS 2008 w/ Exchange 2007) syncing within Astaro (ASG 7.402).  I setup everything and began pulling over AD users.  The "real name" and "additional email addresses" did not transport over.

I could live without the real name, however some of the users have extensive additional emails and I found that if i manually re-add, the next sync clears them again.

Ideally the Astaro would pull the main email and their additional ones from their AD object, thus their User portal contents cover all of their email.  Any help is appreciated.

*Edit*  I just found some VBScript that shows the current users full email settings

    Search here for server 2008.  Also, search for Exchange 2007.  You will find issues about compatibility mode and settings for tar pitting.

    The tar pit seems unrelated to the Users->Authentication->Active Directory->Prefetch directory users

    Mail is received fine, the astaro is just not importing the "additional email addresses" from LDAP and thus user portals only show a small portion of the users actual mail.

    This issue will be fixed in 7-500.

    All email addresses from Active Directory will be synced into the user object.

    Also, please check, if the user prefetch is a requirement for you at all. The vast majority of users are perfectly fine with just using automatic user creation.

    It would be really useful, I tend to add an additional email address every few weeks (sales folks like a show/new product related address), so a single deployment is a highly desired feature.  I'll just have to manage manually until its automatic.

    Again. I would recommend to enable 'automatic user creation' for the facilities you want to use. Users created this way have all email addresses imported. If you feel that the ASG has a very high load when a lot of users are created at the same time* that is the point where you want to try user prefetch. (Of course, if you want to use user prefetch for any other reason, feel free [;)] )

    * a lot of users means >100 new users log in at roughly the same time, and have their user objects created
