Hi,
Firstly, my apologies if this is something obvious that I have missed [:D] I have recently made the ASG220 live and have a number of test users using it to access the Internet.
My rules thus far seem to be doing the job I had hoped (blocking adult sites, and only allowing facebook to be accessed out of hours). However I now need to look at the reporting aspects to produce reports on usage (if and when needed).
However looking at the Web Security page it lists the users and the amount of time they have spent on the Internet. Once I select an individual it lists ALL the websites they have visited, this raises 3 questions:
1. The duration listed for a specific user seems to be higher than when displayed on the main page - why is this?
2. It lists EVERY website this person has accessed and any underlying sites i.e. Google will also show www.googleanalyitics.com, but the user never visited the second site, how can I tell which sites the user ACTUALLY visited.
3. Is it possible to see WHEN a user visited a specific website?
I understand that if a user leaves a website open and minimised this will remote an inaccurate time too?
Any help understanding this would be most welcome.
FB.
