DHCP on WAN Interface?

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to ASG V7.402 after running V6 succesfully for 3 years. Basic setup did not change;
- ADSL modem (bridged)
- Astaro box (2 nics) internal LAN 192.***.***.*** external LAN 82.***.***.*** 

Everything works fine till for some reason or another the connection goes down. Even while in fact the conncetion comes back on the Astaro will not reconnect (links show green and up but no traffic is possible).

Playing around with the interface from the WebAdmin gui will ultimately force the reconnection but i would like for the Astaro to automatically reconnect when the ADSL connection comes back on.

My ISP tells me that although the public IP adress is sort of fixed (for me) officially it is still dynamic and the Astaro should do a DHCP request.

Now i am happy to comply but i can't figure out how to do it (yes i tried Cable Modem (DHCP) but that did not work at all [:)]).

Any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated,
