Bandwidth reporting accuracy

I am on an isp that limits per month download/upload amount. I need to be able to monitor this. Is this possible in Astaro free home version gateway and is it accurate in the latest version? So if I download say 125GB in a month or whatever will it show this and be accurate?

I'd like to be notified via email if possible to remind me when I'm getting close to 250GB per month.

    Hi Gert,

    I don't think I explained the question on the traffic though the device very well. In theory the traffic on the external interface should be close to what the ISP shows in their statistics, from my checks the ASG count is significantly higher. There are exceptions eg where you access webadmin from the external interface from an internal address and as you advised proxy and packet filter traffic can be counted twice.

    Therefore the traffic through the ASG is not really of much value other than statistic and maybe a load planner.

    The daily report figures are very close, the ones with a difference are the "real time" tab counts in webadmin because they are reporting on different items.

    Reporting: add interfaces to bandwidth accounting
