Uplink/multipath question

Hi all, 

I have set up uplink balancing to get running our both wan interfaces.
1-ASCO
2-TELECOM

I have also set up multipath rules to put http and ftp traffic out through interfaces 2. And this works well...

I aspect that other kind of traffic (ex. RDP) goes out through interface 1 (ASCO) since it is the first interface in the list of uplink/interfaces.
But this does not work... 

Am I wrong understanding Uplink balancing and m.path rules?
It's necessary to specify another m.path rule (after http and ftp rules) if I want that all other traffic goes out through Int. 1?  [:S]

(Int.Network --> any --> any --> Int.1 (ASCO) )

    Hi trossetto, 

    the default multipath scheduling algorith ist Round Robin based on Source IP adress.

    If this is not what you want, than you can use multipath rules do fine-tune these settings. Just as u did it.
    The Multipath rule has priority over the default rule. 

    That means in your case HTTP/FTP gets sent out Int2. All other traffic gets balanced by source ip of both interfaces. 
    There are exceptions, several features like IPSec only operate on the primary interface. 

    The solution to your problem is indeed an additional rule the sent all other traffic out Int1.
