Clustring two ASG-550

Dear all,

Everything that i have:
1-two ASG-550 astaro gateway
2-several servers with different services(for example web, mail,.....) behind of my astaro gateway.
3-two cisco switch 2960.
Until now, all of my servers were behind of one of my ASG-550 and connected to one my of switch and everything is ok.
But now, i bought cluster lisencing for my ASG-550s, and i want to cluster them.
I configured my ASG550s for clustering and they are active now and i have not any problem with it.but, i want to know regarding cabling my servers and switches and two ASG-550s.
Can anybody help me about cabling and any suggestion for this job?

I have two ASG425 setup for HA.

I have the primary connected to our WAN Link for the ISP and the secondary (slave) connected only to the HA cable.

King, you don't have the slave connected to the WAN or your LAN? Is there a reason for that?

Ashkan, I don't know how to tell you to configure your switches to handle WAN and Internal LAN traffic redundantly, but you should follow the basic ideas shown in the diagram on page 13 of Knowledgebase Article #235572 - ASGV7 HA and Cluster Guide English.

Instead of using gigabit switch ports to connect the HA ports of the ASGs, just use a crossover cable.

From your reply,i understood that it's not necessary to connect secondary ASG-550 as same as primary.means it's sufficient that i connect all of my servers to primary ASG-550 and then connect secondary ASG-550 to primary ASG-550 with a crossover cable via a interface that assign to Clustering?

I have a question?
If primary ASG-550 failed od if i power off it, how secondary ASG-550 handle my server traffics?
I means, it's not automatically, and i must unplug cables from primary ASG-550 and connect them to secondary ASG-550 as same as primary?

That is incorrect, please read page 13 of KnowledgeBase Article #235572.
