Accounting - refresh intervals

If I was to check the traffic between our ASG and a remote server, the accounting figures arent updated live.
Does anybody know how often the accounting information is refreshed? Is it every hour, 3 hours, what?

    The accounting is done via flows, and these flows are written to the database after the connection has been closed. There is an (additional) mandatory write-back of the flows happening during the night, though. So, if the connection is closed you'll be able to see it in the reporting in a matter of minutes; if the connection persists it will not appear until either night or the termination of the connection.

    Here's a tougher question! (i'm guessing the answer is "no way" but here goes):
    We have a few remote users connecting through a static IP address directly (we have an ACL from the isp which prohibits them from accessing anything other than our ASG's external address).
    Is there a way to get the total bandwidth of those 5 remote users on a daily and monthly basis included in the midnight report? They are not using VPN or any such system, they just have access to one single port.

    What about putting the IP on a separate interface?

    That would be a great solution I didn't think of, however it isnt possible due to the fact that our public IPs are outnumbered by our connected clients :-(
