DynDNS not updating

My ASG (v. 7.401) is not updating my dynamic IP address at DynDNS.  I am able to successfully update the address using a PC client (connecting through the ASG), but the ASG doesn't update it.  The status in the DynDNS tab says that the last update was successful, but it isn't updating the address according to the date stamp when I log into DynDNS and check the status.

I'm using the external interface, which is directly connected to the Internet (IP passthrough from a DSL modem).  The packet filter is configured to allow any traffic from the Internal network out.

Any ideas appreciated.

    Mine's working... are you sure you put your DynDNS username/password into the firewall correctly?

    Mine is configured as:
    hostname: myname.dyndns.org
    Assign: IP of local interface
    Interface: external
    Type: dyndns

    You could try disabling it in Astaro, firing up tcpdump, and enabling it, and see what gets communicated.

    Thanks.  I have tried doing a dcpdump.  It looks like the ASG is successfully establishing a HTTPS session with Dyndns.  I wonder if it is just that the date stamp isn't updating (on the ASG and at dyndns.com)?

    Currently, dyndns.com is correctly resolving my external address.  I don't know if that is because of my recent use of the PC client.  I'll see if I can force an IP address change by leaving my modem off for a while, and hope that the ASG updates the record....

    One thing I've noticed with mine is that the 'last updated' date on the dyndns.com page doesn't change often for my home connection, but as my IP almost never changes, I'm not suprised.
    The updated date does seem to change if I reboot the firewall though.
