What happens when you have both the gwportal and gwvpnssl groups AND you have REMOVED the user from the AD group for gwportal. In other words, when the groups don't have any of the same users:
gwportal = portal users who don't have vpn access
gwvpnssl = portal users with vpn access
Even if that works, I agree that this is a bug.
PS What class of email users do you want to exclude from accessing their personal whitelist?
check astaro only the vpn functionality if the gwvpnssl group added in the access-list of the portal?
I have remove and readd my user in the gwportal ad-group. now i see remote access when both groups added in the portal. only with gwportal access i don't see remote access.
One group have rights to see the email facts (whitelist, quarantine) and the other one have email and remote access permissions.
The problem is solved, when i specially add the gwvpnssl group in the allowed groups of the portal..
