Hi Fellas:

Why does the ASG only report the Messenger's IM-Gateway IP instead of the end-user's ip in the executive report?

    This is just a guess since I'm not big on IM.  It's likely because it's not talking to the other persons IP; you are both talking to the IM-Gateway.

    I guess that would make sense but how do I find out which users on the inside are using this service?

    Select 'log' instead of 'block file transfers' or 'block completely' on the 'Protocols' tab of 'IM/P2P >> Instant Meggaging (IM)'.  Then you'll see the conversations in the 'IM/P2P Classifier' log.
