Network Statistics Problem

Hello Friends,

I got some problem with "Network Statistics - Today" under Network.

"Top accounting services" and "Top source hosts" are showing nothing. I restarted the firewall but still it is not showing anything?

Can you guys please help me to find out the problem?

Thanks,
RB

  • I had assumed that you were fairly current since this is a problem that began with the new database in the V7.300 release.

The post I linked to above was one by Andreas.  Please read his comment about this process deleting accounting and reporting data.  Most don't use that, but your organization might.  You can copy the files off beforehand if you have to keep them.  If you have a lot to copy, a little Linux knowledge and a free program like WinSCP will make the task easier.

  • Thank you very much. It solves my problem.
  • Hi
Well, we had the same issue a few times already.
All this time it was fixed by Astaro, just to happened again two-three weeks later.
    Some of astaro comments:
    1. we have another problem with the postgresQL database
    2. There is a autocleaning process which deleted a version file from the data folder in /var/log/reporting/pgsql. Without that version file you get these error messages.
    3. is it possible to reduce the timeframe from 1 week to 1 or 2 days? That will reduce the reporting database.

It seems there is a problem with the postgresQL....
