SOCKS and AD Authentication???

Kind of stumped on this one...

I am trying to get the kids AD accounts to authenticate prior to using AIM...

I have activated the SOCKS proxy, Group is set in AD as well as Astaro. Tell the system to use SOCKS5 and authenticate users and here is the log response:

2008:04:06-13:55:23 (none) sockd[30844]: block(0): tcp/connect [: username%Taylor@192.168.0.103.51442 -> kdc.uas.aol.com.443: aua denied access

Any thoughts how to get around this one? I am using HTTP proxy in transparent mode.

Forget this one - figured it out on my own.

I was using SSL on the backend for authentication.

Changes it to normal port 389 - now it works perfectly. Awesome!
